Brand new to The Antrobus Hotel, ready for the 2016/2017 season, The Marquee is a aluminium framed 8x12m ‘clearspan’ luxury marquee. Fully, heated, carpeted and able to withstand even the worst of british weather, The Marquee is an all season outdoor function area which features internal chandelier lighting and ivory pleated silk interior.
The Marquee is erected specifically for each function and is assembled on top of the terrace directly behind The Ballroom. The Marquee can be reduced in size for smaller functions, since it is assembled in 3m length bays – allowing for 3, 6, 9 and 12m length configuration options. It can be fully heated and is available for hire with a variety of internal seating layout options, thanks to it’s ‘support free’ structure meaning that there are no internal supports to block views.
Among the many configuration options available in The Marquee is a removable stage and video projection system with a large 3m screen. The 3 chandeliers in the middle of The Marquee are an impressive centerpiece and the Marquee also features adaptable internal LED ‘wall wash lighting’, so that the internal wall and ceiling linings can be ‘washed’ with a colour matching the theme of the function.
Sadly, due to licensing restrictions we are unable to allow amplified or recorded music within The Marquee, however at the management’s discretion acoustic music may be allowed during daylight hours. For this reason patrons looking to hold evening entertainment such as discos often opt to hire the adjacent ballroom for the evening/music section of their event.

Featuring tensioned walls and ceiling, it is completely impervious to even the worse of british weather. The Marquee is lined internally with a ivory pleated silk lining and is lit by 3 large chandeliers. Fully carpeted over it’s reinforced boarded floor, it is the ultimate in wedding marquee luxury!

The Marquee makes an excellent base and indoor space for parties held in the garden. However please note that due to licensing restrictions we are unable to allow the playing of amplified or recorded music in the marquee, however acoustic acts are more than welcome to operate in the garden within daylight hours, subject to an acceptable noise level.
