Choose a room

No two rooms are the same

This is an old building, so the rooms come in different shapes and sizes. Every one has its own bathroom with a bath or shower, a tea and coffee tray, digital TV, a telephone and free Wi-Fi, and is made up daily by our housekeepers. Tell us if you need a particular bed set-up, a quiet room or space for the dog, and we will find the right one.

There are 19 rooms: singles, doubles, twins and family rooms, in economy, standard and deluxe grades, plus the Beatles Suite and a Bridal Suite. Rates depend on the season and the type of room, and every booking includes a cooked breakfast. Check availability above for the price on your dates.

Before you book

The practical bits

Arriving and leaving

Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Early check-in and late check-out can usually be arranged if you ask reception before you arrive. Reception is staffed 24 hours a day, and there is no minimum stay.

Breakfast

A cooked breakfast is included with every booking. The full English is cooked to order every day except Monday, and a continental breakfast is available every day.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome for £10 per night, by prior arrangement. They can go anywhere in the hotel on a lead, including the bar, the garden and your room, but not into the restaurant.

Parking

The hotel does not have its own car park. Use the Smart Parking pay and display car park directly opposite and buy a ticket from the machine. It is free overnight from 6pm and all day Sunday, and costs from 30p an hour at other times.

Children

Children are welcome, and can sit in the bar with an adult. Cots are available on request.

Access

Because of the building's age and its Grade II listing there is no lift, and there are no ground-floor bedrooms. The ground-floor restaurant, bar and function rooms can be reached step-free, with a member of staff, through the service entrance and garden, and there is an accessible toilet.

Why stay here

Four minutes from Stonehenge, and somewhere to come back to

Most visitors drive in for the stones and drive straight out again. Stay the night and you get the rest of it: Woodhenge and Durrington Walls up the road, Salisbury Cathedral 15 minutes away, and a garden, a bar and dinner waiting when you have finished.
